Venomous Snake Safety (All Ages)
Dealing with Snakes in Florida Schoolyards: This series of educational documents for teachers is available online through the University of Florida's electronic data information source (EDIS). These fact sheets provides information that will help you to prevent negative encounters between children and snakes, will teach you how to identify venomous snakes, and will prepare you to deal with snakebite emergency situations. Programs by Dr. J for teachers and students on this topic are also available through the Florida Knowledge Network.
