Simpson grew up in Kingwood, Texas and attended Texas A&M University
in College Station, receiving a B.S. in Biology. During her time at
Texas A&M, Suzanne conducted research on life history traits of
Mexican swordtail fish and received a senior thesis.
Suzanne has been accepted into the Masters program at UF where she is pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Ecology through the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. Her research interests include invasive species biology and she plans to study the ecology of introduced amphibian and reptile species in Florida.
Suzanne served as a courtesy reviewer for the Florida's Snakes pages
on this site, and provided a great deal of feedback that helped to
make this a great resource for Floridians.
